TYC CENTREX TEZU TIBETAN SETTLEMENT VISITS

After two days, on the 24th of November 2022, the President and General Secretary visited the Tezu Tibetan settlement. During their visit, they engaged in interactions with the Tibetan community residing in the settlement. The primary focus of these interactions was to create awareness about the critical situation inside Tibet.

The President and General Secretary delivered a talk aimed at raising awareness among the Tibetans about the challenges and hardships faced by fellow Tibetans, such as human rights violations, cultural suppression, and the struggle for freedom.

By conducting this awareness-creation talk and engaging in discussions with the Tibetan community in Tezu, TYC aimed to empower and mobilize the Tibetans in their pursuit of freedom. These interactions serve as a reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by Tibetans and the need for continued activism and support for the Tibetan cause.”

On 24th November 2022, the President and Secretary arrived at the Tibetan Settlement of Miao Choephelling. During their visit, they had the opportunity to meet with local Tibetan community leaders and visit various establishments such as offices, healthcare centres, and schools.

 

One of the key highlights of their visit was their talk at the Sambhota School, where they conducted an awareness-creation talk. This talk particularly focused on raising awareness about the critical situation inside Tibet, highlighting the challenges faced by Tibetans living under Chinese rule, and emphasizing the importance of education in the fights for justice.

 

In the afternoon, they engaged with broader Tibetan community with a public talk that  allowed them to connect with a wider audience, address their concerns, and inspire them to actively participate in the Tibetan freedom movement.

 

These engagements and awareness-creation talks aim to empower and mobilize the local Tibetans, encouraging them to actively contribute to Tibet’s freedom and preservation of Tibetan culture and identity.
