On the 22nd of November 2022, the President and the General Secretary embarked on a physical visit to the northeast regional chapters of the Tibetan Youth Congress. Their journey commenced from the Tenzingang Tibetan Settlement.
The purpose of this visit was to connect with and assess the activities and progress of the Tibetan Youth Congress in the north-eastern region. By physically visiting the regional chapters, the President and General Secretary aimed to engage with the local Tibetan community, understand their challenges and aspirations, and provide support and guidance where needed.
Such visits allow the leadership of the Tibetan Youth Congress to strengthen our ties with the regional chapters, promote unity, and gather first-hand information about the situation on the ground. This enables the organization to better address the concerns and work towards the empowerment of Tibetan youth in the northeast region.
