TYC MET WITH INDIAN DELEGATIONS IN DEHRADUN

TYC President, RTYC Dekyiling Secretary Passang la, and TYC Media Officer Tenzin Lobsang had a productive meeting with Col. (Retd.) Ajay Kothiyal Ji, Founder of Youth Foundation and Director of Sidhi Foundation, along with Shri Inderpal Singh Kohli, Uttarakhand State President of Bharat Tibet Sangh, and Mr. Navin Pirshali, Uttarakhand State Spokesman for BJP and executive member of Sidhi Foundation. They discussed the cycle rally’s aims and objectives, and the guests graciously accepted the invitation to attend the TYC Cycle Rally flag-off ceremony.

CLEANUP DRIVE ON WORLD RIVERS DAY WITH OTHER NGOs, TPIE AND TSO.

On the occasion of World Rivers Day, the Tibetan Youth Congress along with the Clean Upper Dharamshala Programme of the Tibetan Settlement Office, Students for a Free Tibet – India, International Tibet Network, and the Environment Desk of the Tibetan Policy Institute conducted a comprehensive cleanup of the Bhagsu River. This initiative was accompanied by awareness-raising activities highlighting the significance of the Tibetan plateau, as well as a special expression of appreciation to the local community for their steadfast support over the past sixty years.

TYC REPRESENTATIVES’ PARIS VISIT

The Tibetan Youth Congress Vice President, Mr. Tashi Targyal la and Organizational Secretary, Mr Yeshi Chomphel la addressed the Paris Tibetan community regarding the critical situation inside Tibet and stressed the importance of unity amongst Tibetans. Elections were held, and new RTYC Paris chapter members were elected, with a smooth transition of responsibilities between the old and new working committee members.

This afternoon, we had the privilege of interacting with Kungo Acharaya Yeshi Phuntsok la, former Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile; Shri Rishi Kumar from the Tibet Core Group; and Dr. Vishal Singh Nehria, BJP District President. We engaged in a fruitful discussion on various ways to strengthen our freedom movement.

TYC PRESIDENT ATTENDED 30TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY OF NDPT

TYC President attended as the guest of honor at the 30th Founding Anniversary of the Tibetan Democratic Party of Tibet and addressed the distinguished gathering. The President reflected on TYC’s pivotal role in shaping the party’s rules and regulations, as well as its founding, in line with the visionary guidance of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The address also emphasized the significance of the Tibetan Democratic Party in advancing the causes of democracy and freedom for Tibet, highlighting its crucial role in promoting the values of justice, equality, and human rights. The function was attended by the chief guest Kungoe Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile, former Deputy Speaker, Archarya Yeshi Phuntsok, Thupten Nyendak la, Advisor to the National Democratic Party of Tibet, and representatives from various non-governmental organizations.

TYC CELEBRATE 64TH ANNIVERSARY OF TIBETAN DEMOCRACY IN HOLAND

During the celebration of the 64th Anniversary of Tibetan Democracy by the Tibetan Community in Holand, TYC Vice President Mr. Tashi Targyal la and Organizational Secretary Mr. Yeshi Choephel addressed the gathering. They highlighted the critical situation in Tibet and the vital role of TYC in our struggle for a free Tibet. They also emphasized the importance of unity among Tibetans in the face of Chinese oppression. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Holland Tibetan Association and the Tibetan community for their warm hospitality and invaluable support in making this event a success.

ESTONIAN DELEGATIONS VISIT TYC OFFICE

The President of the Tibetan Youth Congress along with representatives from four Tibetan NGOs, engaged in a productive meeting with a delegation from the Estonian Parliament. The discussion centered on the vital advocacy work undertaken by non-governmental organizations, and expressed sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Estonian government and its citizens for their steadfast support of the Tibetan cause.
