On 29th March 2022, Former TYC Centrex and Director of Tibet Fund Kungoe Kasur Lobsang Nyendak la visited the TYC Office and had detailed discussions on the joint actions taken by the two organizations to empower and strengthen the Tibetan Freedom Struggle.
Tibetan Youth Congress Information Secretary Ms. Lhamo briefed about TYC and its activities to the coordinator of Ruchi (NGO) and its volunteers on 29th March 2022 at TYC Office. She also expressed her concern over the critical situation inside Tibet.
Honorable Jiri Oberfalzer, Vice President of the Czech Senate, accompanied by his Advisor, Secretary of Czech Embassy in New Delhi, Protocol Officer, and Interpreter met with representatives from 5 major Tibetan NGOs on 9th March 2022. The meeting went on for two hours and during the two-hour session, a wide range of topics from the Chinese invasion to the current critical situation inside Tibet was covered.
Mr. Tsewang Rabgyal, TYC Joint Secretary and the representatives from the civil society organizations thanked the Czech Republic government and its people for supporting the Tibetan Freedom Movement and also for diplomatically boycotting Beijing Winter Olympics.
On 10th November 2021, Tibetan Youth Congress President and Organizational Secretary extended our hearty congratulations to former TYC Centrex, Kalon Gyari Dolma la, Department of Security, Kalon Tharlam Dolma la, Department of Education, and Kalon Norzin Dolma la, Department of Information and International Relations who took their oath as Kalon of the 16th Kashag.
A tentative program of Major General Dr. Bhakshi’s talk on India, Tibet, and China – New Perspective 2021, jointly organized by the civil societies in Dharamshala at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, Dharamshala on 8th November 2021. TYC General Secretary, Mr. Sonam Tsering chaired the program.
TYC President Mr. Gonpo Dhundup and TYC Joint Secretary Mr. Tsewang Rabgyal and RTYC Shimla President Mr. Pema Dorjee met Hon. Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Himachal Pradesh at Raj Niwas, Shimla. TYC President handed over the invitation letter for the upcoming Golden Jubilee Ceremony.

Jai Ram Thaku, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh at his residence in Shimla on 22nd September 2021. TYC President thanked government and the people of Himachal Pradesh on TYC’s 50th Founding Anniversary.
On 17th May 2022, TYC President participated in a protest campaign to mark the 27 years of enforced disappearance of the 11th Panchen Lama, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima in front of the Chinese Consulate Office, New York.

Tibetans, the Buddhists and Tibet supporters around the world mark 17th May as the 27th anniversary of the Chinese government’s enforced disappearance of Tibet’s 11th Panchen Lama. Along with the Panchen Lama, his entire family as well as Chadrel Rinpoche, head of the search committee to find the reincarnated Panchen Lama, were also abducted and have disappeared. Since then, he has remained unheard of and unseen by the world.
