A delegation of prominent Indian journalists from Delhi visited the Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) office in Dharamshala as part of a three-day outreach programme organised by the India Tibet Coordination Office (ITCO), under the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR).

During the visit, the delegation met with the executive members of the Central Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC). As part of efforts to facilitate broader engagement with Dharamshala’s five most prominent Tibetan NGOs, invitations were extended to these organisations, and representatives from the Gu-Chu-Sum Movement Association and the National Democratic Party of Tibet (NDPT) joined the meeting.
The delegation comprised Ms Jasmine Sharma, Senior Anchor and Deputy Producer at News18 Network; Mr Rishabh, Associate Editor at NDTV; Mr Ravinder Singh Robin, Independent Journalist with BBC Punjab; Mr Pranay Upadhyaya, Editor of India Today Global and Lead Foreign Policy Correspondent at Aaj Tak.
The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen engagement between Indian journalists and Tibetan civil society organisations, fostering greater dialogue and understanding of Tibetan issues, the Tibetan community’s aspirations, and the ongoing efforts of Tibetan organisations in exile.
We would like to thank the program coordinator: Ms. Tashi Dekyi and Deputy coordinator cum accountant: Ms. Migmar Tsamchoe la from ITCO for their outreach program.
