On the following day, 19th November 2022, the 11th Tawang Tirth Yatra was flagged off by Shri Indresh Kumar Ji, a senior leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), along with Shri Pankaj Goyal Ji, the BTSM National General Secretary. Kungo Tsering Dolma and TYC President Gonpo Dhondup were also present. On the way, the pilgrims were warmly received by Dr. Paramananda Rajbongshi, the Guwahati MLA, and regional BTSM members who performed a traditional dance.

Upon reaching the triple border of Assam, Bhutan, and Arunachal, the participants were warmly received by the BTSM regional chapter members. The TYC President was presented with a Thangka (Tibetan scroll painting) on behalf of Shri Dorjee Wangdue Karma, an Arunachal MLA. In the evening, the pilgrims were warmly received by Kungo Tenzin Rinchen, the Tenzingang Settlement Officer, and other representatives at the Gyuto Monastery before leaving for Bomdila.
