Spread the love

On July 2, 2026 — marking one month since pawo Lobga Rangzen self-immolated for the cause of Tibet’s freedom and independence — a candlelight vigil was held in his memory, together with a protest against the Chinese communist government newly implemented “Ethnic Unity Law” and an appeal action directed at the United Nations. Organized by non-governmental Tibetan organizations based in the exile  and by Tibet Support Groups in Dharamsala. Hundreds of Tibetans and supporters of the Tibetan cause held the candlelight procession from McLeod Ganj market to Bhagsu.
