The Tibetan Youth Congress organized a candlelight vigil from McLeod Ganj Main Square to Martyr Pillar in the Dalai Lama Temple to express solidarity with the Tibetan people of Drachen County in Nagchu, Kham, Tibet, following the devastating earthquake. The disaster has reportedly claimed 16 Tibetan lives, injured 60 people, and left more than 10 people requiring emergency assistance, while causing significant damage to homes and communities.
Through this vigil, the TYC extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved families and expressed solidarity with all those affected.
