TYC [Tuesday, March 25, 2008]

Dharamsala - On behalf of the Six million Tibetans, TYC strongly condemn the most brutal and barbarous actions resorted by the China's Communist Party (CCP) on the series of peaceful Tibetan protestors in different regions of Tibet who were expressing their grievances and resentment against the Chinese regime. So far, More than 100 Tibetans are confirmed dead, thousands were seriously injured and imprisoned as a direct result of Chinese actions. The CCP have aggressively intensified its violent crackdown on the Tibetans especially after the Monday midnight surrender deadline to all the protestors. The Tibetan People's peaceful movement inside Tibet and the brutal onslaught on them by the Chinese regime evidently demonstrates the lack of legitimacy of the CCP inside all the three provinces of Tibet. TYC reaffirms its demand for the complete independence of Tibet as the ultimate aspiration of the 6 million Tibetans and pledges to sacrifice whatever our struggle may take of us.

We earnestly demand that:

China's Communist Party (CCP) must immediately stop using force against the peaceful Tibetan demonstrators and release all the arrested Tibetans without any condition.

United Nations must immediately dispatch a Fact Finding Missions inside Tibet and pressurize China to respect the human rights of Tibetans.

China must immediately stop Cultural Genocide inside Tibet.

CCP must allow Tibetan people to exercise Freedom of expression, Freedom of movement and Freedom of assembly.

China must lift the ban on international media and allow free movement of Press in Tibet immediately.

International Olympic Committee (IOC) must immediately cancel the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

We call upon the International Communities to boycott 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in China and support the Tibetan people's aspirations in regaining our lost Independence.

China must allow free access to international humanitarian organizations to provide emergency medical assistance for all the injured Tibetans who were hurt and badly injured.
