The Day six of the Tibet Independence March began with the usual routine Prayers. As the Marchers were nearing Andhra Pradesh border, the warm and sunny weather during the day was causing little trouble for the monks who were recently arrived from Tibet. More than 30,000 copies of the flyers and Pamphlets on Tibet and Independence March have been distributed to the local Indians till day six.

The local Medias have been covering up all the events on March in their News Channels and Print Medias. The Indian public support on the Tibetan Issue are very evident from the gestures and hospitalities of the local populations at every remote villages and towns to our Tibetan Peace Marchers. Some of the travelers have even handed over the news paper coverage to the marchers and showed their support by waiving from the running Buses and vehicles.

The Marchers have entered Andhra Pradesh border by noon and was given welcome reception by the Headmaster of the Zilla Prishad High School. The headmaster Mr. Gangadhar called a meeting of all the senior students and explained to all the students in their local language about the fate of Tibet and purpose behind the Tibet Independence March.

The distances covered on day six are 28 kms and throughout their walk, the marchers have been raising slogans and reciting Prayers (Jangchup Semcho Rinpoche). After dinner on day six, there was intense debate and discussions between the marchers. The marchers have freely choose the topics for discussions, the topics for day six are: 1) "Tibet Support Groups truly effective in resolving the Tibetan Issue" and 2) America's conferment of the Congressional Gold Medal to His Holiness the 14 th Dalai Lama and pressuring China to invite His Holiness to Tibet and China".

16th December 2007, the seventh day of the March began at 8:00 am after the morning prayers from Ponamakulym (Andhra Pradesh State). The Chittoor District Superintendent of Police Mr. Sashita Reddy have offered all the necessary assistance and provided escort to our Marchers. The police authorities and local leaders have helped in exempting our hired Vehicles from paying road and toll taxes. Mr. Bala Krishna Reddy have volunteered in translating the Pamphlets in Local (Telegu Language) and sponsored to make photo copies.
