To Mark the 50th Anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising day, Tibetan Youth Congress organised indefinite fast outside the European Parliament in Brussels and continue campaign in New Delhi from 10 March 2009 such as 50 Hours, Minutes, Seconds fast by Younger generation  and older generation with pledge in their heart to continue struggle until Free Tibet, Protesting outside the United Nation Office in Delhi to submitted Memorandum on 50th Anniversary of Tibetan Women Uprising day and 100 people Blood Appeal Letter to express solidarity with 3 Tibetans Hunger Striker in Brussels and Candle light vigil to light the dark shadow of Communist China in Tibet.

Today TYC organised long live pray for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and Tribute to all the Tibetan Martyrs who were killed by Communist China from 10 to 5 pm. Tenzing Norsang Joint Secretary of Tibetan Youth Congress address the gathering and said March of last year was a bloody month in Tibet when pro – Independence Tibetans voice against China force as for more than a half century, the people of Tibet has been under the forced rule of Chinese occupies and killed many Tibetans. So that why we gather here today to pay tribute for their selfless sacrifice for Tibet Independence and long lives of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama which is important not only for Tibet but for the world peace and Pledge to their blood that we will Free Tibet which was participated by TYC Northern Chapter, RTYC Samyeling and monk from Gurmey Monastry in Bud Vihar.

Which was followed by singing of the Tibetan and Indian National Anthem and then a minute of silence was observed in remembrance of brave men and women of Tibet who have sacrifice their lives for the sack of Tibet and Tibetans.

The day long pray end around 5 pm by offer scarf and Honorarium to the monk by Penpa Tsering International Relation Secretary of TYC for their presence of successful pray which was participate by some Indian and foreigner to show their sympathy and support to Tibet Issue. Mr Rajiv Kumar resident of Delhi said that I am glad to the organiser to spread the fact of Tibet issue to the world through various means and Tibet is land of Buddhism so world should come forward to support Tibet Issue with own capacity to prevail Peace of Earth.

This was follow by usual Candle Light Vigil from Jantar Mantar to Parliament Street to express our solidarity and Tribute to the brave men and women of Tibet and concluded by singing the song “we shall overcome” with pray and commitment to Free Tibet and shouting a slogan “Victory of Tibet” “Victory of Tibetans” "Victory of Free Tibet”.

Mr Tenzing Norsang said that Tomorrow is big day for every Tibetans as it’s mark the 50th Anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in exile so we have a campaign “Freeze for Tibet” in the front of India Gate to convey a strong message to the world that Dalai Lama is far from his home “Tibet” for last 50 years which is very painful for Tibetans and appeal for support.
