To Mark the 50th Anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising day, Tibetan Youth Congress organised indefinite fast outside the European Parliament in Brussels and continue campaign in New Delhi from 10 March 2009 such as 50 Hours, Minutes, Seconds fast by Younger generation  and older generation with pledge in their heart to continue struggle until Free Tibet, Protesting outside the United Nation Office in Delhi to submitted Memorandum on 50th Anniversary of Tibetan Women Uprising day and 100 people Blood Appeal Letter to express solidarity with 3 Tibetans Hunger Striker in Brussels and Candle light vigil to light the dark shadow of Communist China in Tibet and day long pray for the long lives of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Tribute to Tibetan Martyrs.

Today TYC organised Freeze for Tibet for 50 Minutes in the front of India gate to mark the 50th Anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in exile which was participate by 50 Tibetans as a symbols of 50 years and supported by many Tibetans from TYC Northern Chapter including Shimla, Kullu Manali, Dharamshala, Ponta Sahib, Purwala, Pondho, Tsering Dhondenling, Herbertpur, Nainital, rtyc Symaling and Students from rtyc Rohini.

Tenzin Norsang Joint Secretary of Tibetan Youth Congress address the gathering and said "today we all gather here because we all have a same pain that His Holiness the Dalai Lama escaping from Tibet in 1959 since he haven’t been to Tibet so today we marks the 50th Anniversary of Dalai Lama in exile and convey a strong message to the every corner of the world that 50 years is too long so Enough is Enough and appeal to every Tibetans to promise that we will struggle together to hoist the Tibetan National flag on top of the Potala Palace and our leader, His Holiness the Dalai lama, will sit on his rightful throne at the Potala’ than 50 minute Freeze started at right 2.40 to 3.30 afternoon under very heat sun but still there bear all the pain without moving so that why some people fall down and vomiting but there got more energy when 15 Burma students participate with them to support for the genuine cause of Tibet and said that Dalai Lama is not only leader of Tibet as he is leader of world so that why it’s all our responsibility to work for Tibet Independence.

The Freeze end with singing of Tibetan and Indian National Anthem which is follow by singing the song  “ We Shall Overcome” with pledge to Free Tibet one day and Tenzing Norsang thanks to all the participated and Burma students for their support to encourage Tibetans for their struggle and pray for their cause to bring Democracy in Burma.

The week long campaign starting from 10 March 2009 in Delhi end for short time by offering scarf to all the helper and closing speech from TYC executive followed by suggestion and idea from participant for next campaign.

TYC will led a Marathon “Run for Tibet” on 28th March 2009 from Majnu Ka Tila Tibetan Camp to Jantar Mantar to spread the awareness of Tibet Independence during china celebration of 60 years Liberation of Tibet so we will pray for more participation and support.
